Notice the walls, trim, and ceiling. All highly detailed to match the highly detailed craftsmenship that would be found in local family owned repair shops. In a time were people bought less and maintained their belongings, these shops were common place.

 

In modern society things are mearly disgarded when damaged. The shops that once repaired hand crafted pieces, are nearly all gone. And along with them, the skilled artists and craftsmen and their trade.
