Wyoming
Motel
Started in the '30s in Moorcroft, WY. There was a motel of the same name in Sheridan, WY but was not associated.
The two neon signs were rescued and fully restored.

Phone Booths were popular between the 1900s to 1970s.
How to Operate:
-
Step inside, close the door. Light comes on and optional fan.

Use the Telephone Directory to find the number you wish to call.

Remove the handset, deposit coins
-
Listen for Dial Tone then dial number

Dial number by putting find in the number hole and spinning the dial all the way clockwise till it stops. Then leg go and it will spin back. Repeat for each numeber.

Talk through the Reciever. The operator will interupt your call if more coins are needed.

If the line is busy or there is no answeer, hang up and your coins will be returned.

As Oil & Gas and other Automobilia becomes harder and more expensive to collect, Jeff has taken to recusing local unique neon signs that would've otherwise ended up in the landfil.

Dahlberg Pillow Speaker
1950s

Coin-operated personal radio. By placing the speaker unit under the user's pillow they could listen without disturbing people nearby. The unit was mounted to the headboard of a bed in hospitals and hotels.
1 dime = 1 hour of radio runtime
Upsidedown radio dial allowed you to read it while in bed.


Mailboxes

From the original post office Edgerton, Wy.
Stamps

Postage stamp dispensers came in 1906 and were soon common in general stores and service stations.
